Overview

The Iowa Waste Exchange is one of the nation’s premier waste exchange programs. The program is non-regulatory, confidential and provided at no cost to Iowa’s businesses, municipalities, organizations and individuals.

The Iowa Waste Exchange provides education, technical assistance, market resources, end markets for construction and demolition materials, success stories and case studies.

Commitment to Sustainability

Since 1990, the Iowa Waste Exchange has diverted nearly 3 million tons of material from Iowa’s landfills by reducing, reusing, recycling and renewing.
