Involvement with Green & Main
Digital Residence is proud to be a partner of the Green and Main initiative. Our involvement initially began as design consultation of the Green and Main mission with respect to low voltage controls. Working through the goals and challenges, it immediately became apparent that this pilot project warranted custom systems design from the ground up. We were then brought on board as an official partner to provide design and installation of the various interconnected subsystems, including data, audio/video, security, surveillance, climate, energy management, metering, and control and monitoring systems.
Sustainability Commitment
In order to reduce our carbon footprint as a nation, we cannot simply build new energy efficient buildings. Taking care of main street must and will become more prevalent, predictable, and repeatable.
Increasing focus will be given to the interaction and cooperation of various building subsystems. This trend combined with emerging advances in building materials and construction techniques will help define the future of energy efficient and sustainable buildings.
