Indigo Dawn is a socially conscious land and building development company.
Founded in 2003 to revitalize neighborhoods through real estate investments, Indigo Dawn’s first development was a condominium conversion in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed in 2005, “The Hillside Penthouse” renovation received multiple industry accolades for its design and construction.
Today, as a developer for the renovation and reuse of existing buildings, Indigo Dawn has a honed vision for preserving community and historic buildings. Indigo Dawn is the developer for the Green & Main Pilot Project.
The team of Indigo Dawn shares the Green & Main vision of establishing a scalable model for sustainable building rehabilitation on a global basis. That model will include a Best Practices Manual to serve as a pattern book for others to follow.

Indigo Dawn collaborates with award-winning designer, remodeler and builder Silent Rivers Design+Build to create a solution for the sustainable renovation of small commercial buildings. As General Contractor for the Green & Main Pilot Project, Silent Rivers brings 25 years of sustainable building expertise, artistry and passion to this initiative.
